Caroline Wozniacki secured her third consecutive Pilot Pen tennis title over the weekend, knocking out Nadia Petrova of Russia, 6-3, 3-6, 6-3.

The Saturday afternoon success is the second in a week for the 20-year-old Dane, who took home top honors in Montreal.

Wozniacki, who improved her New Haven record to 13-0, is slated to begin the US Open as the top seed, replacing an injured World No. 1 Serena Williams.
